i just remembered the new deadline for illo friday. this is “cheating” b/c i did it almost… 2 years ago! while hugh & i spent a few months living in oaxaca, mexico. oh the colors and mythology there! so inspiring! i was thinking this might be a fun kid’s book about a kitten named clementine who thought she was really a birdy.
